• SIMOVIS is a man/machine interface for visualization and operation of SIEMENS converters in a standardized environment (PC with Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0)

• SIMOVIS provides a link to other converters via the PC serial interface and Siemens USS protocol

• SIMOVIS can be integrated into the SIMATIC Step7 environment via a PROFIBUS link

• SIMOVIS provides management functions for parameter sets (Upread/Download, Compare, Print)

• SIMOVIS allows parameters to be set in offline mode (i.e. when PC is not connected to converter)

• SIMOVIS offers menu-based parameterization of associated parameter groups

• SIMOVIS offers easy readout and display of internal state variables
  (TRACE function for up to 10 curves, with DC-Master only)

• Teach-in funktion for parameter descriptions of unknown converter software versions
